Voter Registration Deadline: Ten days before an election.
Same Day Registration (SDR): Recently voted down in the Massachusetts legislature but other reforms in place. Read more here.
How to Register: You can 1) register online, 2) or by mail (be on the lookout for an invitation in the mail to apply for mail-in voting) or 3) go in person to an election office, an RMV office, or certain public assistance offices.

Vermont Public Interest Research Group
VPIRG’s mission is to promote and protect the health of Vermont’s people, environment and locally-based economy by informing and mobilizing citizens statewide. Among other things, VPIRG is fighting to make the government more open, responsive to and reflective of ordinary citizens by: Minimizing the influence of big money and special interests over elections; Ensuring that Vermont’s leaders are elected with majority support; Removing all unnecessary barriers to voting in order to maximize voter participation including passing the automatic voter registration bill when you register your car or get a license; And maximizing transparency and accountability in our voting systems.
